An all-new dark standalone romance from the USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Shantel Tessier

Little Demon

I was raised in a world where money and power are at your fingertips. My father is a lord, a very respected member of a secret society that knows no bounds. When tragedy struck my family, we discovered we weren’t untouchable. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any worse, I was shown what hell is really like. Then he came and saved me. The devil disguised as my personal hero. But of course, nothing is for free. Not when a soul is up for grabs.

I Vow. You Vow. We Vow.

Easton Bradley Sinnett—Sin—uses his power for his own sick pleasure. Like a typical Lord, he never thought about the consequences of his actions. I grew up with him, obsessed over him, craved him. He was who I pictured when I imagined doing things my body shouldn’t want.

One day, I realized he was not who I thought he was. It didn’t change anything, though, because I was already too far gone. If anything, I fell for him harder.

Every now and then, someone enters your life who flips it upside down. Sin wrecked me in the worst way, and I thanked him for it by serving on my knees.

As they say, nothing lasts forever. Men like him never stay with a woman like me. I’m what they use, not keep. So when he threw me away, I shouldn’t have been all that surprised.

My body had always craved the darker side of love. The kind that left bruises and scars. I was what most would call unholy. And when the devil whispered in my ear that he loved me, I was more than determined to show him just how devoted I could be.

Loved the story! The female voice was so terrible I had to stop listening and read the rest of the book. Sin needs a strong deep voice; the narrator did his character a disservice.

Terrible Narration

Please do not let other reviews persuade you not to read this book. The whole cheating scandal is not what you think it is and people stop reading it before actually getting to the good part. It really is not that bad, but I will say if you're not into super spicy books, then I would steer away from this one. It really did catch me off guard because I was not ready for how intense it could get. Definitely recommend reading this book, it is a tie between this and the ritual!!

Slow start but was a good book!

Overall I liked it, but I just couldn’t really get behind the Sin character. The first book I loved, Ryat is still top tier LORD for me, I felt like it dragged on. Couldn’t keep up with the “plot”

Wanted to love it

Content advisories and Trigger Warnings are different things. This book is a great example of when a content advisory is reasonable. The difficult subject matter is not simply one of many plot lines - it is THE foundation and primary focus of the entire story. That said, I’m an avid opponent of the “trigger warning” insanity that has prevented an entire generation of females to face and conquer painful things. Even worse, it’s taught them to presume it’s everyone else’s responsibility to ensure they are never exposed to things that might upset them. It’s had a devastating impact on our younger females - even original TW advocates are now beginning to acknowledge this. We as humans become strong and mentally healthy when we can encounter difficult subject matter and move past it. Trigger Warnings ensure people feel it’s okay to embrace being weak and fragile.

The female narrator grated on my last nerve. She does the glottal fry, “goat” like tremble in her voice to convey urgency or high emotion. It’s like nails down a chalkboard at times.

Extremely dark with weak story behind the smut.
