So Drake, Worm, and Wolfgang travel to Barga, where they meet an Earth Dragon named Kinguq and her Dragon Master Nanu. Kinguq and Nanu guard a secret door to the powerful Earthquake Dragon, called the Naga. It is also where Maldred is trapped.

In the ninth book, a Dragon Master named Mina arrives at the castle. She tells Drake and his friends that her kingdom in the Far North Lands was attacked by a magical Ice Giant. Everything there was frozen - but Mina escaped! Only a fire dragon can unfreeze her land and defeat the terrible Ice Giant. But Rori and Vulcan are no longer at the castle! Can the Dragon Masters find them in time to help their new friend?

The evil wizard Maldred has been turned into one hundred mini-Maldreds! Drake, Rori, Bo, Ana, and their dragons travel to Goryeo to meet the Chaos Dragon Seong-Min and her Dragon Master Ji-Min. Seong-Min is the only dragon powerful enough to stop the chaos the Maldreds are causing! But Ji-Min warns that the Chaos Dragon is very difficult to control, even for her. Will Drake and his friends convince Ji-Min to help them defeat the Maldreds?

Drake and the rest of the Dragon Masters are one step closer to stopping the Shadow Dragon from blanketing the world with its sky-shadow. They have the Star Flute! Now they just need to summon the Star Dragon. But first they must figure out how to play the flute. They will need to work fast! Can the Star Dragon help them save the world?
