I am officially a Catherine Cowles addict!! The suspense in these books are perfection! The Narration in each book brought the characters to life and you absolutely felt every single emotion!
Whispers of You: Holt, our MMC, is the ultimate protective hero, but what really stood out to me was his growth throughout the story. And Wren? I absolutely loved her. She’s strong-willed, incredibly resilient after everything she’s been through, yet still one of the sweetest characters. Watching her and Holt grow together was beautifully done and added so much depth to their relationship.
Echoes of You: Nash is this amazing protective hero and Maddie was just such a sweetheart. Best friend to lovers trope at its best! Was so sad how they basically lost touch and when she returned they fell into this amazing familiar friendship but with so much chemistry that they both tried to deny. Absolutely loved this book and the characters!! The narration was done amazingly yet again!!
Glimmers of You: How Caden cared for Grae from afar for years was sad and beyond beautiful. The fake-dating trope was done really well in this book! The suspense was on point as always! I loved the intrigue and I’m always surprised by who the villain is…
Shadows of You: Every time I read one of Catherine Cowes books, I’m like; this one is my favourite bit geez! The suspense in this book was palpable! Roan and Aspen’s story was so perfect! My heart broke for our closed off MMC and the way she just made him come alive was perfection! Tender Heart and Little Dancer will never just be words, I will now always think of this book when hearing those words. Another amazing read!!
Ashes of You: So sad that this series ended, I absolutely loved all the books in this series! I’m officially obsessed with Catherine Cowles and will be starting on the next series very soon!
How this book stated had me hooked immediately; the suspense built from page 1 and didn’t end up until the final chapter. The love between Lawson and Hallie was so beautiful! Hallie and the kids’ dynamic was so gut-wrenchingly perfect! A perfect ending to this series!!

1. Whispers of You - Narrated by Andi Arndt & Zachary Webber ; Whispers of you is a second chance romance that absolutely blew my mind. Holt & Wren were done so perfectly well. I absolutely adore this narration combination as well.

2. Echoes of You - Narrated by Jason Clarke & Erin Mallon; Nash and Maddie were friends to lovers. The way Nash pined for Maddie was so pure and raw. I loved this one so much.

3. Glimmers of You - Narrated by Joe Arden & Erin Mallon; For all of my fellow Brother’s Best Friend fans, this one’s for you! Caden and Grae are MAGIC… PURE MAGIC. This is probably my all time favorite trope so I was not disappointed.

4. Shadows of You - Narrated by Maxine Mitchell & Zachary Webber; To me, Roan was the dark horse of this series that very pleasantly surprised me. I loved him so much. This was a single mom x grumpy, tortured hero story and it was exceptional.

5. Ashes of You - Narrated by Ava Erickson & Sebastian York; Lawson, Law Daddy Hartley came firing on all cylinders in this one. SebYo and Ava are impeccable. The single dad x nanny trope is always a hit. This was no exception. The suspense was heavy as well.

6. Visions of You - Narrated by Jason Clarke & Erin Mallon; This Novella was so sweet and pure. It was a best friend’s older brother. It was such a great way to wrap up the series. The story technically takes place before book 1.

I loved every minute of this box set and can’t recommend it enough.

Small Town Suspense Perfection!

Having my favorite series in a box set for audio is amazing. I loved revisiting each book and pretty much binged listened my whole way through just like I do when I do a re-read. I'll admit most of the narrators didn't match up to the characters voices in my head but that didn't matter, I still enjoyed each book, and I also enjoyed the bonus novella at the end. That one was a new story for me. I wonder if Catherine will ever give us Jack's story. Highly recommend this series if you are a lover of small town romance, and thrillers. Catherine is a goddess at combining the two elements- you'll never see the twists coming but your heart will always end on a happy.

As with all of CC’s stories, this box set was something I binged. I read one after the other because I needed to know each couples story! I haven’t guessed the bad guy correctly at all, not even once. The narrator line up for these stories was amazing with many of my faves! They all did a phenomenal job, even when doing the kid voices, which I’m pretty picky about because it can be annoying (like nails on a chalkboard) if not done well. They all match what I picture each character sounding like, and the pacing was spot on for each.
