Narrated in duet by Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke with Sebastian York, Adam Gold, Teddy Hamilton, and Connor Crais each narrating an Archer brother, this audiobook is something special. Talk about drawing you into the story by grabbing you by the throat. Oh and the Archer brothers’ group texts are especially entertaining when voiced by these talented narrators. Trust me, you’ll be totally into this story from the very beginning because no one writes an emotional prologue quite like Catherine Cowles.

I’ve read some wonderful books so far this year. Five star reads. Loved them. But this book? It’s by far my very favorite. And to say I’m surprised would be a lie. It was also my most anticipated read so far this year.

Dex Archer is a hacker genius. He and his four brothers have survived the very worst evil that was their father. I fell hard for the Archer family. My heart broke for them. We get a glimpse into each brother’s personality, their individual trauma, and I can’t WAIT for every future book in this series!

Braedyn Winslow is searching for her best friend who disappeared in Starlight Grove while they were hiking over a year ago. Brae moves to the small town with her eight-year-old son, Owen, and her sweet, mischievous dog, Yeti. Brae is fierce. An amazing single mother. But she’s been on her own in her search for her missing best friend. She trusts no one. But she needs Dex’s help. Brae is one of my favorite heroines EVER.

Do not hesitate to pick up this audiobook. It’s incredibly well narrated by the top narrators in the business. You will not be disappointed.

This audiobook is my absolute favorite so far this year. Maybe ever.

This was my first Catherine book and I totally get the hype.

This story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It kept me engaged and was so hard to stop listening to.

Brae and Dex were so sweet. The way they meet, the chemistry between them, and the way Dex cares for Brae and her son. He is so protective and he gave her the family she had been needing for so long.

The Archer brothers are amazing even after everything they went through. I cannot wait for the rest of the series!

This cast of narrators was amazing!! Samantha and Jason just brought so much life and personality to the characters. You could feel the emotion, the chemistry, the humor, and the angst was so well portrayed.

This book is SO GOOD! It had all the feels. I really enjoyed it so much and look forward to the next one. So worth the credit.
Also the narration was very good. They really make you feel like your right there in the story.

You know what is even better than reading this story to myself? Having talented performers taking CC’s characters and performing it for me. Samantha and Jason brought these characters to life and had me on the edge of my seat. Their narrating skill are top-notch. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook.

This book was phenomenal. I’m so glad I got to experience the start of a new series. Out of all of Catherine’s works, this is the best so far. Makes me want to listen to all of them. The story was really good. Kept me guessing. The romance was sweet and heartwarming. The side characters were so lovable. But the main attraction is the full voice cast. Everyone knocked it out of the park. Especially Jason Clarke. The man has crazy range! I think he might be my new favorite VA. An unforgettable experience. So glad I bought this. Can’t wait for the next one.
