Nash Hartley has always been my everything: Protector. Partner in crime. Best friend. The person who was there for me in my darkest hour. But my heart wanted so much more.

So, when I knew for certain Nash didn’t feel the same about me, I tried to move on. What a mistake that turned out to be.

Now, I’m back in our small town, desperate to escape my living nightmare, and the only person I want to see is him. As secrets are revealed, and Nash finds out what happened to me, he’ll do anything to keep me safe.

But there are those who will do anything to stop him, and this time neither of us may make out alive….

THIS AUDIOBOOK!!! PERFECTION IN EVERY PAGE!!

I already know that a new book by Catherine Cowels means that I'm going to be adding this story into my top favorite reads. I might sound repetitive BUT there isn't a story by her I don't adore.

Echoes of You is book two in The Lost & Found series and while it can be read as a standalone I recommend reading the series in order so you don't miss nothing about the Hartley siblings.

This is Nash and best friend Maddie's story. From the moment they met as children they became the best of friends and while Maddie's life with her parents was absolute horror she had Nash and his family who always welcomed her. Growing up Maddie's feelings for Nash become so much more unfortunately for her, she didn't see him returning those feelings and she left town to try to make a new life with a man she thought loved her and cared for her, this was the worst decision she had ever made.

Now Maddie is back in her old town trying to hide and run from a life full of fear and regrets. Nash of course is there for her more protective and willing to do anything to help her but their friendship is put to the test and Maddie's feelings for Nash come back to the surface. Nash's secret about how he truly feels for Maddie are also tested.

Danger is looming around them and this time Nash will do anything to protect and show Maddie how he truly feels about her. This is one romance story you don't want to miss reading because while Maddie and Nash's story is heartbreaking at times is oh so beautiful at the end.

I listened and read an arc of this book, you can't go wrong with either, they are perfect!!

Gah I love Catherine Cowles books so much! The suspense in her books give me life. Now if only they was only a bit more spicy, that’s the only downside for me personally. Great story an great narration!

Love This Series!

I love Jason Clarke’s voice, but am just not a fan of Erin Mallon’s nasal, breathy voice. The story would have been a far more enjoyable listen with Andi, Maxine, or Kit portraying Maddie.

I did love Nash & Maddie’s story, and I appreciate some actions are needed to support the overall storyline - but my word, Maddie was just stupid too many times. And - obsessive nut jobs are downright scary.

The Hartley family has my heart! Their love & devotion to each other, their constant banter, is all priceless.

I’d love to listen again to this book with a different female narrator.
