The Hounds of Hell Motorcycle Club takes care of their own... and every once in a while, another rebellious soul catches their eye.

Sean "Ax" Hunter is both a former Marine and Sergeant at Arms for the Hounds of Hell MC. His mind works like a twisted hamster wheel. Dates, facts, faces, and memories are all vivid and constant. Nothing holds his attention long, until the night a Georgia storm forces him into an upscale club, and suddenly his attention belongs solely to her.

Layla Monroe, the rebel without a cause, just trying to stay afloat after her parents' tragic death. A death that is surrounded by both unanswered mysteries and shocking truth. The sins her parents kept covered up ran deep enough for Layla to question everything she's ever been taught, but they also keep her fighting her attraction to this monster she shouldn't want. The type of monster that just might be responsible for her loss in the first place.

Working for Sean doesn't seem like the smartest idea, but when he promises to pay her enough to cover the rest of her schooling, she can't resist. All she has to do is make it through two weeks of helping him heal and resisting the urges she keeps feeling every time he's near her. Layla is convinced her knight in shining armor isn't destined to come riding in on a Harley, but maybe fate has other ideas.

This book includes depictions of violence expected with the life of an outlaw motorcycle club. For mature listeners. Narrated in duet style.

Perfect ! It takes place before Wolf.e and I am in love with Sean Hunter aka Ax !

Love it

I love it when books have the MMC fall first and there is no wavering in his feelings for her. No third act break up. MMC was obsessive and possessive in the nurturing and protective way that allowed the FMC to step into her own and live the life she always wanted. It ended with a 17years later epilogue that gave me all the feels! One of my faves!!

What I’ve always wanted!

This audiobook is incredible! Super spicy, a bit dark, and a bit suspenseful. This is a must read/listen!

Could not stop listening!!

I am loving the audiobooks in this series, and I can’t wait for the third one. And the fourth. Or maybe I just don’t want it to end. Ever.

Dove gives us the story of Ax (Sean) and Layla and how they fell in love before Wolf.e.

When Ax and a few Hounds of Hell members stop by the restaurant where Layla works, their connection is instant. She can’t look away, but neither can he.
Everyone knows how much I love a he falls first, and you better believe I was a goner for Sean.

Layla is struggling to make ends meet after her parents’ deaths. Sean was in the military, and with a photographic memory, he really can’t forget what happened to him abroad.
They seem to have nothing in common, but from a name to a song to tattoos, they were very much meant to be.

He makes it impossible for her not to fall for him. Acts of service are definitely his love language, and Layla sees the man underneath all his broken pieces and she likes him just like that—big, bad, and morally gray, but protective, caring, and loving too.

CJ Bloom has been one of my favorites for a while. I love the melody in her voice and how she captures you to a point where you want to be the FMC’s BFF. Layla is a strong woman with vulnerable moments, and she showcased her depth perfectly.
Aiden brings out the unhingedness and the growly side of Ax but also how soft he is for his woman. He shows how big Ax’s heart is, and how much he gives of himself to others. Perfect!

Their dynamic and banter were amazing in audio. It was fun and everything you want from an FMC who is not going to roll over and an MMC who would if she wanted him to.

The steam? The audio does NOT disappoint. I really should stop listening while driving. Their chemistry was insane! There’s nothing she can’t ask for, and there’s nothing he won’t do for her.
There’s a suspense element and MC business, there’s found family, and there’s mutual support, and I loved it all.

This was a beautiful story about an undeniable connection that seems fated. And these two narrators made my day with their talent. 100% recommended.

We are infinite.

Possessive alpha MC hero. Feisty heroine. I enjoyed the story. Loved how the dove tattoos brought them together.

Great listen.
