I enjoyed this duet narration. the inflection was perfect and loved their accents. Dom is incredibly possessive and Poppy is on the run. I liked th growth of the MMC but would have liked to see more growth for the FMC.

Protecting Poppy is intense protector/obsessive stalker romance with spice. This is Poppy and Dom’s story filled with suspense and possessiveness in protecting Poppy from the real threat. I love how Poppy is an independent woman and Dom is a strong protector with a secret job. Things escalate when Poppy’s past comes to haunt her, which makes Dom’s job much easier. Their attraction only intensifies when he tells her the truth, which puts her in more danger. Dom will do anything to keep her safe and I love how he puts her first. I really enjoyed their story and loved the chemistry they have! I can’t wait to read more.

I really enjoyed this read. It lacks nothing in the spice department and the story line pulled me in from the beginning. The one thing I was not crazy about was the period play. Just a personal preference for me and to each his/her own.
