Dren had just signed the deal of a lifetime with Arthur Twisp, the legendary creator and namesake of Arthursberg. Together, they were set to unveil the Undersuit, a revolutionary piece of tech that would change the world of mining forever. The future looked bright… until it was painted in blood. During the celebration meant to seal their partnership with their mining rivals, Arthur is assassinated. The crowd panics. The guards move in. And Dren? He's thrown in a cell as the prime suspect. Clearing his name is only the beginning.

When I climbed out to the surface this morning, to scavenge some food for my village, I knew the odds were severely stacked against me. A mere nurse, I had no business going out into the sun, where all kinds of monstrosities roamed. As if to prove my fears right, I was only out in the open for a few minutes when a pack of Kinru spotted me. I was quickly cornered. In a desperate attempt to defend myself, I managed to hurt one in the face...right before the creature was snatched by an even bigger monster. Then everything became a blur. And when I came to, I wasn't the same anymore. 

In the quiet crafting village of Arthursberg, Dren's life was little more than a routine of pain and drudgery. A mangled leg, a crippled arm, and a shattered future left him stuck at the post office, stacking boxes while his friends chased dreams he could only imagine. But everything changes the day an explosion shakes the nearby forest. When everyone else turns a blind eye, Dren hobbles toward danger, determined to help. What he finds is an Artificer's workshop—and a gift that will rewrite his destiny.

As if things couldn't get any worse, Arthur is trying to survive yet another dreadful shift at the Hammy Burger when a supervillain barges in and takes him as a hostage. It's clear, from the get-go, that this villain is a poor schmuck who just happened on a dose of ChemX. And so, in an attempt to save the poor bastard from the consequences of his foolish actions, Arthur tries to convince him to surrender. But when the caped cavalry arrives, something happens and Arthur is exposed to a leak of the mysterious chemical substance.

I did it. It took a lot of sweat and coin, but I managed to bring the Karl back to a functioning dungeon. With my adventuring shop running in full swing, now's the time for the second part of my plan: building New Valley. All that's left for me to do is wait for the lumber I ordered to arrive so I can stake the land, start expanding, and… What? What did you say? My cargo's been stolen? As I start investigating the incident, it becomes increasingly clear that someone's been sabotaging my efforts on purpose.

This is it, the day I take over my father’s adventuring shop! Set at the base of Gianskarl mountain, where lies a vast and mysterious dungeon, this is the perfect spot. Many adventurers come to try their hand at the Karl in the hopes of hitting it big. And it’s up to me now to sell them the equipment they’ll need to face the dangers that await them. But where my father was content selling trinkets for a pittance, I want to turn this modest shop into the industry leader.

That's why I decided to rush the inevitable and draw these nightmares into this world while I still got the upper hand. But first, I need to prepare.

The gods should have agreed to fight the giants and let Ragnarök run its course and bring about the end of time. For a new world could only rise from the ashes of the old. But because the gods prophesied to die refused to take part, Yggdrasil - the World Tree - was forced to act before the stalemate led to the annihilation of the nine worlds and its very existence. And so I was born. One of the many seeds dispersed by the mighty World Tree, I was teleported through different planes and universes to find a new home where to settle.

After a brush with death that almost cost me everything, I managed to expose Izguril's machinations and imprison the usurper god within me. Now, with no more immediate threats to my survival, I wish that I could take some time to rest, but I can't. Because if the goblin village that has taken up residence within me is thriving, and more adventurers come every day to test their mettle against my traps and monsters, something is nagging at the back of my mind. A dark vision, that was confirmed by none other than the Mistmother - the goddess of foresight. 

Since that free-for-all that saw every Champion hurry to claim as much land as they could, many of the weaker rulers have been eliminated. As a result, the whole land of Liora is now under the control of eight single coalitions. Can they be trusted to keep to themselves and play nice, or should they be treated like threats and dealt with accordingly? That is one of the main questions Charles and his allies intend to answer when they meet up to finalize their own union. 

I can't take it anymore. This curse, this undead curse… It makes it so every moment is nothing but pure torment. I need to keep busy, to take my mind off of it and alleviate the pain. More than that, I need to find a way to rebuild my powers after I was tricked by my own allies, slain, and reborn. I can't return to the human lands yet. The pact of non-aggression still stands. This leads me to accept a contract that will bring me to the land of the Witch Elves. A place where great dangers lurk—demons and abominations— but also tremendous power.

Henshaw Tarley has been subdued, and New Valley is now all mine to develop! My plans are clear. First, I need to secure alchemical ingredients for Cynthia, my resident alchemist, so we can start making and selling potions. Second, I must find a wand maker to broaden the range of items we offer in the shop. Then, there's the issue of that magical tattoo parlor I want to set up… For that, I will need someone to teach me the basics of tattooing so I can gain a rank or two and make full use of my new ability.

I'm at the top of the world. My list of accomplishments over the last few years has grown to include: proprietor of New Valley; governor of Karlton; head of House Landon; owner of the Giantskarl and Opal Dungeons; wartime outfitter for the Draconic Resistance Army…And on top of that, I'm about to marry a dragoness. What else could I ask for? But when you have everything, you stand to lose the most. The King has summoned my presence.

Charles and his allies of the Commonwealth were facing their toughest challenge yet with the Northern Collective forcing them to bend the knee or face a terrible and costly war. But progress doesn't come without risk, and neither does adventure. Tasked by the Green King himself to scout the mysterious Tallik Treetops, Dren sets off in his latest creation: the Walking Bug. But what started as a simple quest quickly turns into a grand mission that will push him to his limits, forcing him to delve into new dangerous dungeons where peril lurks at every corner.

It was no small feat but Arthur, aka Brick Breaker, managed to pass the Combine and earn the right to keep his powers. And so, his work as a superhero may finally begin, with his team, the Eon City Champions. Their first mission sounds easy enough: rid the Climb of all the baddies squatting in the abandoned housing projects, and they'll get to keep the building as their new headquarters.

The time is now. Ever since he first set foot in Liora, Charles had to suffer the Tradesmen's criminal practices, but now is the time for him to strike back and take them down for good. But as our dear Champion gets ready to make his move, his plans are smashed to bits. While he counted on his trading with Liskoa to bring him the money needed to fund his retaliation, he can only watch as a pirate ship sinks one of his vessels, cutting off the cash coming in.

I struggled every day, looking to put something on the table, but it was my life, and no one had a right to take it. Especially not Eris Lanyer, lord of the city, the very same who was supposed to keep people such as myself safe! The nobleman killed me without a second thought for the sole purpose of testing the blade he had just acquired! So here I am, burning with such a rage at this flagrant lack of justice. My hate is so immense that I'm unable to pass to the afterlife, and so I return as a Revenant.
