The midterms are over, and I’ve succeeded, not only in passing, but I’ve also managed to increase my blood rank from E to D, something that’s never been done before. With all my recent successes, I should be satisfied with my progress. Not a chance. Cromwell’s don’t settle, and I’m not going to stop until I climb to the very top and stand proud next to my sister and all of the other prodigies at S-Rank. But it was foolish of me to believe I could defy the natural order of the world and just climb the ranks freely and that there wouldn’t be consequences.
