Er überlebte, als alle anderen versagten, schloss den Dungeon ab und musste feststellen, dass sein Sieg bedeutungslos war. Er wurde von Amarath, dem Geist des Dungeons, dafür verflucht, dass er sich skrupellos auf seine Macht konzentriert hatte, und wurde in die Vergangenheit gestoßen, wo er im Körper seines kindlichen Ichs wiedergeboren wurde.

Sie nannten ihn Sven, die Splitterfaust. Zumindest war das früher so. Damals, vor dem Krieg mit dem Dunklen Lord. Er war ein Abenteurer der Stufe S. Ein Mann, der in Armut aufwuchs. Jetzt gehört ihm das Adventurer's Rest. Eine Taverne, die er mit seinen zwei Gefährten betreibt. Das Zauberermädchen Ash und der Halbelf-Barkeeper Lloyd. Sie sind nicht ganz die Familie, in die er hineingeboren wurde, aber sie sind die Familie, die er gefunden hat. In einer Welt, die sich weitergedreht hat, helfen sie ihm, das zu finden, was er verloren hat. Sich selbst.

Abenteurer sterben nie, sie verblassen nur. Sie nannten ihn Sven, die Splitterfaust. Er gehörte zu einer Gruppe von Helden, die den Dämonenfürsten Mannon bekämpften. Jetzt ist er endlich nach Hause zurückgekehrt. Aber für Sven ist das Leben nach seiner Rückkehr aus der Fremde nicht mehr das, was es einmal war. Das Leben als Abenteurer ist auch nicht mehr das, was es einmal war. Alles hat sich verändert. Irgendetwas ist jetzt anders.
