Deputy US Marshal Creek Rivers has a unique ability to track down and capture or kill men he is assigned to find. After he captures some of the most dangerous men of the period, Creek is summoned by the attorney general to find a little boy who has been kidnapped. Finding the Suggs boy, the kidnappers, and returning the boy safely put another of Creek's skills on display.

Then there is another young woman killed in Fort Worth, adding to the mystery.

Sam Jackson was to wear many hats during his life: freight wagon driver, wagon train scout, Deputy town Marshal, Deputy Sheriff, scout for the 9th and 6th Cavalry, and U.S. Marshal for the Western Division of Texas. Sam responded to a newspaper ad asking for someone to scout for a wagon train bound for Santa Fe, New Mexico, on the Santa Fe Trail. Sam sent a telegram and surprisingly was hired sight unseen. He traveled from Texas to Independence, Missouri.

The Plainsman – The Bounty Hunter begins the story of Samuel Jackson. Sam was to wear many hats during his life: freight wagon driver, wagon train scout, Deputy Town Marshal, Deputy Sheriff, scout for the 9th and 6th Cavalry, and U.S. Marshal for the Western Division of Texas. Sam tracked and captured several killers, bandits, and other wanted individuals. All without having to kill any of them. Working out of Austin and San Angelo, Texas, he monitored wanted posters until he found someone within riding distance to attempt to capture.

Will Cannon rides the trail alone to California in search of the Blackman Gang. Will thinks a district judge named "Hanging Henry" Hart has joined an outlaw gang. Several other elected officials such as the district attorney and the sheriff may also be working with the polecat outlaws. Will gets some help from some California state marshals and from a beautiful women as he tries to bring down the Wall Gang.

Will Cannon rescues Mountain Mike, the last living mountain man, from a gang of outlaws from Taos, New Mexico. The gang of ruthless outlaws are trying to steal Mike's silver claim. Will gets some cowboys and some vigilante miners and devises a plan to rid Taos of the outlaws.

Tipi Morris was a 12-year-old girl and part of a wagon train headed west. She was up early and went into a draw, leading her foal, Sundance, to relieve herself and let him graze. While she was hidden from sight, Indians attacked the wagon train and killed everyone including her parents. After the screams stopped and the Indians rode off, Tipi went to the wagons, and buried her parents. She scavenged everything she could find that was usable for the wagons and the Colt Baby Dragoon pistol and money that was hidden in her parent’s wagon.

Some dirty polecats Arizona Moonshiners are making poisoned moonshine and selling it to Apache Indians, miners and cowboys near Globe, Arizona. Will gets help for two local cowboys and he uses the authority given him by the Arizona Rangers to hunt down the outlaws. He discovers that the moonshiners are also robbing the payroll shipment from the train and that the Indian Agent on the San Carlos Indian Reservation may be the boss of the outlaws.

The year was 1715. A Treasure Fleet comprised of 11 Spanish ships and one French vessel was blown onto the reefs off of the east-central coast of Florida by a massive hurricane. Eleven of the 12 vessels were dismasted, broken like kindling, and sent to the seafloor in less than 20 feet of water.

The Frontiersman – Massacre at Buffalo Creek, continues Hannibal Brinks and Stumpy Smith saga. As they were delivering cows to the mining camp, Tall Bear and his Arapaho braves attacked them in Drago Canyon. They survive the ambush only to be attack. On their way back to the ranch, five drygulchers try to steal the money from the cattle sale. They survive the attack and meet two men who will become cow hands on their ranch. A young Lieutenant stops at the Circle BS and spends the night with his detail.

When Hannibal Brinks left his boyhood home in Missouri, he was just 16-years-old. He joined a small wagon train headed West. On the way, he met two brothers who were mountain men, and traveled to the Rockies with them. Will and his brother, Joe, do business in Durango, and he is not going to allow a gang of outlaws ruin his business there. Will rides to Durango and later to the lawless mining camp of To Hell You Ride, Colorado, to fight the outlaws. He enlists the help of some miner vigilantes and some young cowboys and Pete Abrams and his other men from Chama to fight the outlaws.

The strip of land on the northern Arizona border is known as No Man's Land or the Outlaw Strip. No state wants to claim title to this land because the town of Compton and the nearby land is a lawless hell hole that is occupied by ruthless cutthroats and murders. However, there are some good people in Compton, and some young bronc busters work taming wild broncs in the mountains near No Man's Land. Will and Joe Cannon need to buy the horses from the bronc busters, so Will rides the trail alone to No Man's Land.

Becky’s uncles, Ike, Jesse, and Caleb Branson were lawmen in the West. One by one, the Branson brothers left the hills of Missouri and headed west. Ike and Jesse worked their way across the land working as ranch hands, Indian scouts, and finally lawmen. Caleb lost his wife and newborn child, sold his farm, and headed to Texas to try and become a Texas Ranger. Ike and Jesse Branson become deputy US marshals, Ike in New Mexico and Jesse in California.
