The older man is fine, but the kid is ridiculously annoying. I enjoyed the format and how well everything is explained. But poor narration makes it a chore to listen to.

Great stuff, but narration is annoying

Quite the breath of fresh air in this day and age of safe spaces and me too declarations. This book helps to gently guide you along the path of self actualization and taking responsibility for your own path.

Eye opening and transformative.

Powerful and thought provoking & deserving of a second listen almost immediately. I wore out the "bookmark" and "clip" functions for future reflection and study. The "acting" of those portraying the fable characters distracted at times, and I'm doubting elements of the translation - the "youth" used the word "sophistry" at least six times - but overall the ideas shone through for someone looking for more than just another "self-help" book.

Profound! Deeper than your usual "self-help" book

Exceptional dialogue in understanding the self, individual, the purpose of community with respect to purpose, philosophy, psychology, and the POWER OF NOW!

Amazing breakdown to live life!

based on the title, I assumed this book would be another feel good about yourself don't worry about what other people think etc. Some of the chapters were hard to accept at first because the author impresses upon you to take responsibility for what are your"tasks" and what are other people's"tasks". this is definitely on my listen to again list

don't judge this book by its title!
