What happens when a romance book-loving woman on a journey of self-discovery has her whole world altered when she finds her childhood best friend got her pregnant by accident?

Lots of hormones, role playing, banter, and angst.

Angie Johanssen is the oldest of five siblings and has been taking care of her family since she was a child. Now she puts her personal experience to professional use as a children's therapist. But encouraging her patients to talk about feelings is much easier than admitting she has them for her best friend and new roommate.

Eight man and CFO Rafael Jimenez is a goofy, playlist-making, salsa-dancing rugby player for Philadelphia's D1 team with his eyes set on bachelorhood. But when he moves back to the city, and his curvy best friend needs a place to live, he offers up his spare bedroom just like old times.

However, when the tequila starts flowing at his housewarming party and Rafael wakes up in bed with Angie—the sister to three of his teammates—will bachelorhood be as appealing as it once was? Can he rediscover his teenage crush?

Contains mature themes.

The whole time I was reading the Structural Duet, I wanted Angie's story and here it is! She's hilarious and so relatable. If you like accidental pregnancy, this is a good one. Angie and Raf have the wildest bedroom life. They come up with absurd but intensely hot role plays that had me both baffled and surprisingly into it.

You don't have to have read the Structural Duet to understand this book, but it's more fun if you have.

Tropes:
• Childhood friends to hook up to situationship to lovers
• So much spicy role play
• She reads romance
• Accidental pregnancy
• Latino MMC (and great Latino rep)
• Rugby thighs

I can’t believe I’m saying this but there was too much sex in this book. The story is a lot of sex scenes and little else. It was hard to feel connected to the characters emotional story. It actually started to give me the ick.

Way too much frosting not enough cake

I loved the previous two books, it was a fanatic duo with great narration. I just couldn't get into this book. I felt no emotional attachment to the characters. I zoned out so many times and kept having to rewind until I finally gave up. I'll keep an eye out for other books in the future and hope that I feel more attached to the characters. While I don't recommend this book, I 1000% recommend the Structural Damage books. Sooooo good and so 🥵🥰.

I wanted to like this but a total miss for me.
