Some days, all you need is a message from a stranger.

Ruby Santos knew exactly what she was getting herself into when she signed up to write a soldier overseas. The guidelines were simple: one letter or email a week for the length of his or her deployment. Care packages were optional.

Been there, done that. She thought she knew what to expect.

What she didn't count on was falling in love with the guy.

Wonderful premise

the beginning was kind of annoying with the who is sending the email and to who it's going to. over and over and over. I kept pushing through because I figured it had to stop with that. finally! no more back and forth with emails...all to have it end so quickly. the author could've made multiple books with this if she wanted to. Over all though you do fall in love with the characters.

good but....

I was waiting for this story to become available on Audible and was so excited. Ruby and Aaron developed such a great friendship and it was quite beautiful the way it developed into something deeper. I really enjoyed it although there were times when I wanted to tell Ruby to "get out of her head" a little. Great narration as always!

Sweet, Sweet, Story!

I'm not typically a fan of letter-based books, but with the excellent dual narration here and the seamless transition from letters to IM to standard POV I actually found myself enjoying the variability in storytelling over the course of the novel. Ruby, her family, and Aaron were believable and likeable and I've gone back to relisten to the story. Kulti is still Mariana Zapatas best slow burn romance, but this is a solid read and worth the credit.

Letter Love

Definitely all of the aspects that you come to love from Mariana Zapata with the slow burn romance. But definitely a different writing style. But I enjoyed it. I loved the narrators. I’m in agreement that I wish there was more to the ending but that just might be me wanting the book to go on and on.

Good book
