It’s a little bit like Dexter got a boyfriend.

The narration is really well done!! It definitely made the book come to life.

I think the premise for this story is interesting. It’s definitely nice how the two main characters seem to bring out the best in each other.

As long as people understand that this is fiction & getting involved in a relationship with a (admittedly super hot) serial killer IRL is NOT a good/healthy life choice, it’s fine.

I think the idea of having someone who is “obsessed“ with you can be flattering. Someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to keep you safe… and if it involves a little bit of vigilante justice… that comes with a territory.

If you enjoy a spicy MM romance with an edge of darkness and danger (and a HEA ending) this book is probably worth a listen.

New to me authors and I am glad I decided to get it this time. I usually only like the whole serial killer deal if they only kill bad people kinda thing, so this toed that line for me a little bit. But I liked the story and the MCs, and loved the sex scenes. Explicit and dirty but still sweet with steamy chemistry. Can’t wait for Atlas and then Wilder, too.

Ranen is so sweet and innocent despite his occupation. North is that sweetest despite his occupation as well. They are perfectly matched to love each other.
