Great story. Fast paced not too over the top emotional or triggering. Just enough to be entertaining without evoking a mad rush of emotion. The story was a continuation from book 1, but with a slight time overlap from Gabe & Daisy’s POV. I appreciated that there wasn’t too much replay, but just enough to tie back to events from book 1 during these characters scenes. The personalization was also appreciated with Gabe & helping Daisy help the kids and then with Vin helping Daisy. I purchased the audio version and it was well done & brought the story & characters to life. Moving on to Marcel’s story & Incant wait. Bcz he started it all in book 1.

I’m loving this series so far!! And especially give me an accent and if done well I’m in! Enough mafia/romance to keep my interest. I recommend.
