Author Jacklyn Parker was not playing when she came with this! From the moment the MCs Sienna and Colby locked eyes there was an instant connection and smexy chemistry!!! After a crazy drunken night in Vegas Colby is obsessed and addicted to our FMC Sienna. Colby will do anything to have Sienna. This Dark Romance is full of filthy dirty talk, 🥵 swoon-worthy moments, Plot twists, spicy scenes, and unaliving! Also, if you’re not a fan of the word C$NT don’t listen!😂
Let’s talk about Voice actors, this was a duet narration.
Marie Hawkins k!lls it as always, she brings the emotion, attitude, and the spice! I am a huge fan of Marie. ❤️
James Cassidy was new to me and I am putting this guy at the top of the roster. HOLY SH!t! 🥵James not only came with the sexy Australian accent but he even added the sound effects! YES sound effects! James growls sucks and moans his way through every spicy scene. Not only that but I swooned every time Colby calls Sienna LOVE in that gorgeous Australian accent.

Sienna, the FMC, was everything I love in anFMC—feisty, independent, tough as nails… all while rocking hot pink heels. And Colby? Whew. The Aussie accent, the protective streak (yeah, we’re calling it that ), the dancer moves—he was all in from the start. Their chemistry? Instant. Electric. Unstoppable, as much as Sienna tried.
The plot was gripping from the first chapter and not what I expected. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Dark secrets, intense confessions, and a tension-filled romance that kept me hooked.
🎧 Audiobook listeners are in for a treat. Marie Hawkins brought Sienna’s sass and strength to life perfectly, and James Cassidy was Colby. His mix of fierce determination and soft vulnerability, only for Sienna, made the character leap off the page. I’ll definitely be looking for more books performed by James. The narration duo nailed the dynamic between the leads, and I loved every minute of it.
If you’re into suspenseful romance with bite, heat, and heart, The Bloke is a must-listen. Highly recommend!

Colby is not only sex in a suit or lack thereof... but throw in an Australian accent and a possession "problem" if you call it that but also do anything to make you happy¡! Could there be a better guy??!! Sure, his employment was not what "normal" people would seem acceptable and maybe a bit bloody.
Sienna running away from a life that was never hers but living for others and others dreams. To be free and to who ever she wanted to be ... secrets 🙊 though may just ruin everything!!
