NARRATION - Jacob Morgan... This man can do no wrong in my ears! He is the perfect Sean Bell.
Morae Brehon... Although shd had a small part in the narration, she delivered!

STORY - So 3/4 in the story, I started disliking it. It was slow. Yes, there were layers but I didnt feel the depth and I started to feel bored. I was disappointed that she wasnt really a nun and it lost some of the taboo factor for me. The sex was hot but it was drawn out. I mean 1 whole chapter of him performing oral.... ehhh okayyy... BUT!! There was great build up through out the first 3 quarters of the book.
The last quarter of the book..... It killed me! I cried. All the things that happened on the last quarter made up for everything. My heart broke for Sean and Zenny but especially for Sean. He is such a well written character. Zenny is well written too, smart and loving and so so brave. But Sean... His inner dialogues about himself, his mom and the “church of cancer”, his relationship with God, about sex and God, about Zenny – LOVE IT ALL!
The part about his mom.. It felt so real and personal and now I know why.... Thank you Sierra Simone for writing a great book even tho some parts hit close to home! Im sure it wasnt easy but you wrote it anyway! Thank you!

I recently found this writer's work on Audible and I am blown away by her words! Not just for the obvious (steamy) reasons, but the way in which she writes is so poetic... so deliciously detailed that I can almost feel what her characters are feeling. As she described Sean standing, broken-hearted in the storm... letting the rain fall on his body... I could see him. A broken man surrendering to the pain... to God... ~ I have encountered only a handful of writers who can make me see what I can imagine that THEY are seeing as they create their works. I am very impressed. I will be reading more, for sure.

P.S. I couldn't imagine a better narrator for these books. Zachary Webber is fantastic! Such a gifted actor and narrator.

It's all lust and pain and laughter and goddamnit I was worried when there were thirty minutes left but I held on. Love that the black girl thing was in here and addressed so beautifully. Thanks for writing this. And yeah take it easy on the Bells. But also don't. OH AND MAKE SURE JACOB VOICES THE NEXT. K THANKS!

Sean Bell story time for the win! I adored the time and characters during that brief part of the story the most.

I laughed, got irritated, teared up, hot, cold, and so many more emotions along the way. The palpable way Sierra Simone writes is astounding.

Loved it!!! I love Sierra Simone and her writing style and her character's journeys of growth in all aspects. Sean's story is probably my favorite of the the Priest books!
