It makes her journey feel very authentic. Sean Masters leans further into Saint’s darker side here, and it works so well. His delivery remains controlled, but there’s an added edge—more possessiveness, more intensity—which fits perfectly with the darker tone and isolated setting of the story.

For a relatively short audiobook, this delivers a complete and satisfying arc, and the narration keeps you fully immersed from start to finish. This was a chaotic wild!

Very few times in a duet book is the second book way better then the first but this one was perfect!! Unexpected plot twist, the characters came alive even more. Definitely going to be listening to it again!!!

I would say a part 2 is not needed but the plot and the characters are fun. The mystery was very interesting. The fmc’s friend turns out to be her evil stalker who have bad intentions for her, he also happened to be her bff’s abusive ex who tried to kill her. In the end the bff had her revenge. The MMC put all his kills in that stalker. It became a clear slate for them.

I read this duet last year and when I saw that an audiobook was being released, I knew I had to get it. It was even better with the audiobook! They made me love this duet even more and I have and will continue to bully my friends to listen to these until my last breath!
