This podcast is a reminder of how important it is to connect - not just online, but in real life. Check in on a neighbor, share a cup of coffee…maybe you'll find a new best friend in the process. It happens - this pod is living proof.

  • Ep 29 - Zen Vibes with Carla
    Apr 7 2026

Hey friend! This episode is pure Zen this week. We hang with Carla Higgins, a caffeinated mama, yoga + barre instructor, and registered dietitian who went from Heinz corporate life to teaching people how to feel good in their bodies.

We chat honest stuff: yoga as a “work‑in,” barre basics, perimenopause tips, protein and fiber realities, and yes, the magic of high‑fiber bagels and guilty snack pleasures. It’s cozy, funny, and totally real.

Come for the laughs, stay for the tiny life lessons about breathing, balance, and actually enjoying your life while you’re living it.

  • Ep 28 - Bagels, Bartenders & One-Man Shows
    Mar 31 2026

Hey friend — Amber and Jen are back and spilling everything: Jen’s SoHo bagel pilgrimage (yes, they really do hit different), the Four‑Hour flight delay, and the Biscoff cookie situation.

We also recap Pinetree Ladies Night (featuring an aggressively stressed bartender), the guy upstairs who narrates his life like a one‑person comedy special, and we ask the big question: how many calls to the cops is too many in a neighborhood dispute?

Plus a jaw‑dropping Minnesota driveway feud that generated 232 police calls, and some bright spots to balance it out — a shoutout to a beloved gynecologist and a Target hero named Kelly who found a lost phone. Tune in for the laughs, the gasps, and the neighborhood wisdom.

I am editing my original review now that I have listened to more episodes and I am enjoying it. I first listened to the first half of episode 7 because it popped up while I was driving. They introduce this person Traci, and they make it sound like they talked a lot about her in previous episodes, so I decided to start with the first episode when I got back in the car. Earlier episodes don’t really help me with Traci but the 7th episode was a bit more interesting in that it did give maybe some good ideas for neighborhood events. The most recent episode I listened to was the one with the travel agent and that was a great one to understand how travel agents can help with trips, so I am now enjoying listening to this podcast on my commute.

It grew on me!
