liked how the writer tried to send a message to embrace dignity by exbing control. Also liked that Shayna is one the strongest characters, encountered lately. For some reason, however, not sure I liked Callie's performance more so on the previous book. Joe Arden on the other hand knows how to successfully sport panty melting laugh which he's well aware most his fans find him irresistible, me icluded!

This was so good! And Joe and Callie nailed the narration! Lee & Shayna where such between a rock and a hard place since they worked together and there was a no fraternization rule….. they had a hard past they got over but now to figure out how to get to the future!

Fmc is terrible! Yes lee did things wrong but he did everything to prove he was sorry and that he learned with his mistakes. And she hold a grudge during all 8 years plus the entire book . Something bad happens and she freezes him out without remorse! No! She’s annoying

Ok, so even if the man read from a phone book, my knees would still go weak listening to him… The story is all right, she’s a bit too uptight for my taste, he really did everything in his power to try and make it right…

The story was alright, I’ve read a lot of Piper Rayne’s books but this one was just okay for me. I love the dual narration but I think Joe Arden as Lee, carried the entire book. It felt flat with Callie Dalton narrating Shayna.
