Another great addition to the family, I love all the cross over happening, at first the dual narration ( which I love) seemed a little off like one was to far away but it worked I adore Hear both together.

I thought I’ve felt in love with Brady Banks but I wasn’t prepares for this amazing Chase Andrews. I've loved every second of this story so well narrated 🤩 wow Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood were amazing. This duet was such so great for this amazing story.
I had a great time listening to it. As I write this review I want to listen to it all over again. This was a perfection for me.

GAH I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE A BROTHER’S BEST FRIEND/TEAMMATES SISTER SITUATION… and boy oh boy do I love Twyla and Chase! They are explosive together.. and I love that she tames Chase’s grumpy side! It’s beautiful and fantastic. This book was DELICIOUS! I ate it up in less than 12 hours!

I am ALWAYS going to love a book narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke.. their voices together are a total *chefs kiss*!

I like the voice acting, world building, and connection between the MCs. I appreciate the friends to lover drope that made this story feel like the MMC and MFC have a genuine connection. MFC's emotional challenges were realistic and felt appropriate. This is a slow burn where the MCs build an emotional connection before getting physical. MCs struggled with timing (MFC still getting over a broken engagement), MMC is friends and teammates with MFC, MCs live on different coasts/MFC is temporarily house sitting near MMC, MMC worries about asking MFC to sacrifice her life to give it a real shot.

Though both MCs struggle to communicate their feelings to evolve their relationship to something serious, the reasons they do are realistic. MFC is afraid to put herself out there and worried about making such a big change without fully knowing if MMad also wants to commit. She has big feelings and isn't sure if she could handle hearing no after her breakup with her ex. MMC struggles to ask MFC to give up so much/move her life when he thinks he might not be good enough. There is a little frustrating moment when near the end the MFC realizes she never spoke up about her feelings and feels it too late but still doesn't want to put herself out there. If one person realizes they should have spoken up, it's reasonable to see the other person did the same. "I'll speak up about how I feel next time". Girl, do it now 🙄

But I really enjoyed the MMC decided to be a friend and grow the bond with the MFC. He liked her from afar for years but she was unavailable and he new she wasn't a casual hookup. While she pet sit/house sit across from the MMC, the MFC slowly got over her ex and moved on, growing closer and developing feelings for MMC. Neither one wanted a casual hookup. MFC knew her boundaries and knew a one night stand wasn't for her (true meaning if sex positivity means accepting some people want feelings or more than a random hookup). Though the MCs didn't talk about their feelings, they causally dated and had minimal physical moments until they were both ready to give in to their feelings. A nice story with MCs you root for their HEA.
