I always think I’ve read things that have left me speechless, but this truly left me speechless!

Dr Marsh seems to have a few different sides to him. He’s a proud and respected OBGYN, but is there a darker side to him as well?

This is an extreme story!! One that I read/listened to without moving! It’s gross, brutal, surprising and entertaining!! It’s a short and fast read! If Sea Caummisar writes it, I’m 100% going to read it!

I listened to the audio, and I really enjoyed the narrator!! He did a fantastic job!

I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m glad I’m not pregnant!

I don't regret paying for this book. It's short and it delivers in its promise of a visceral reaction. No spoilers but the climax was hard to take in.

I have mixed feelings about this one, so I'll go with a simple pros and cons list.

Pro. It doesn't skimp out on the torture.
Con. It's more predictable than the author seems to think.
Pro. The story line is actually pretty good, even without the gore.
Con. The red herrings are too deep. Time is wasted on false flags.
Pro. There are lines that I saw coming, that got crossed, that were probably even more shocking because I saw them coming.
Con. There are some inconsistencies in the ending that I'm having a hard time getting around.
Pro. The gore is realistically done. It's not so extreme that it's unrealistic, but also not so realistic that it's not extreme.
Con. Every scene should either develop character or further the plot. This story has scenes that do neither.

Also, to the narrator, please stop trying to do women's voices. It really detracted from the story.

Sea Caummisar never disappoints. With Child was a brutal novella which pushes extreme horror to it's limits. Excellent story. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This wasn't my favorite book by this author. I was expecting more gore and less storyline. The ending was great and well-written. But, the pace of the story was too slow for me.
