Sure, it might sound harmless. A fun party trick, even. I assure you, it’s not.

How do I know? Well, let’s just say that I’ve had a lot of experience with this sort of thing, and nine times out of ten, it turns into an all-consuming disaster. Being plagued by needy ghosts twenty-four/seven is one thing; being harassed by a horde of curious—or worse, grieving—flesh-and-blood people is an entirely different circus. I mean really, who wants to hold an impromptu séance in the middle of the cereal aisle? Not me, and the manager of the grocery store probably isn’t too crazy about the idea, either.

So, that’s it. If you’re a ghost whisperer, just keep your mouth shut and act normal. Ghosts? What ghosts?

Now, if only I would start listening to my own advice…

I think many of us spend a lot of time during our living years wondering about what happens when we pass. Maybe there is an after life or maybe there isn't but it does seem that the universal truth is none of us want to leave this earth with regrets. This beautifully written, funny and warm tale reminds us to not take life or those we love for granted... just in case ;)

I loved this book. Sorry, simple, but packed full of imagination. The writer did a fantastic job on characters, the story, and even the end left me wanting more.

this book was well written but a few things left out. I would have like an explanation for the family of the main character. I felt like if Scarlett was standing in front of me I would have asked questions. but maybe that would have slowed to story down, however it was good and I was satisfied with the ending.
I am so glad one of my favorite narrators did this series. she really brings a book to life.

I really enjoyed the characters in this series. The humor and the different people. It was very lighthearted, and I liked that. The narration was really very well done. I have found that when it is ms. Ranconi narrating it is going to be a good book.
