I’m glad I got this box set because I was able to just continue on with the next book each time I finished. I really enjoyed the premise of a woman in her mid 40s rediscovering herself along with some magical abilities.

These are utterly charming mysteries and characters. The performer does a great job utilizing different voices for the characters and provides a very pleasant listening experience. I couldn't easily turn this off because it was just so addictive- not because the mystery kept me on the edge of my seat, but because I cared about the characters. I'm looking forward to book 5!

This is the type of story where you come away with new friends. The narrator made the story so enjoyable.

I wish I had just gotten the first book rather than the set of 4. I like the storyline and I new this was a "coming of middle age" story but, man, I don't think hot flashes, menopause, and perimenopause need to be mentioned on nearly every page. The repetitive obsession with generational groups and menopause just detracted from the story and felt cringey at times. I typically like to stick with period pieces to avoid things like this.

It’s great to read a series based on women my age that is fun, an easy read, and often so relatable. Great series and an excellent summer read.
