The narrorator goes a good job at voice separation. The story itself is fun and proceeds at a good pace with a mix of action, adventure and love.

I’d listen to this again for the pop culture quotes alone. But, as it turns out, this is also a fun series about a family of assassins. Each installment features a different member of the Bombay clan and this one features inventor Missy, my favorite of the bunch.

“By Grapthar’s hammer … you will be avenged!”
On top of the killer comedy (pun intended), this one has Missy on a knock-off reality TV show.
It was a rollicking good time.

Note that the claim of this falling into the cozy genre only applies to the fade to black sex.
Usually, the cozy label also means no F bombs. However, there are several F bombs, plus some GDs and mid-level cuss words.

Stand By Your Man was a great listen. This is the third book in the series; why I listened to book three after listening to book two is beyond me. There was nothing I can say that is positive about book two. Book three was fun to listen to; the characters were interesting and likable, the story had some good twists, and the narrator was fantastic. Unfortunately, all the other books are only three hours long.
