The narrator on the 3rd book is annoying. Breathy, dramatic, odd inflections and timing.

1st 2 are ok. 3rd not so much due to narrator

Books one and two were such fun to listen to, I love the narrator, I love the story line, but most importantly I love the character development in both books. I was so disappointed to get to book 3 and it’s a different narrator who has a horrible cadence to her voice. I couldn’t make it past the first paragraph in the third book before I had to turn it off and give up. I think I will get it on my Kindle and just read it myself.

I loved everything about these stories except when they change narrators. The book narrator is OK, but not nearly as good as the first one happens a lot with her books. But this is a great series like I will continue to buy it.

I had already heard the first book as a standalone but still used a credit to get books 2-3. Book 2 was good, and the performance was great. The reader for book 3 is terrible. Every sentence ends with the same weird cadence. Almost like Jimmy Cagney meets Jennifer Coolidge. It is so distracting.
