Who knew being strong meant going hungry...?After making it through the fiery Middle Stratum and evolving again, things have been a cakewalk for me-and also one of the worst times of my life. I've gotten so strong that every living thing is avoiding me like the plague. Even monsters that wouldn't leave me alone for a second are running away like their lives depend on it. I mean...all I want to do is eat them! Is that too much to ask for?! At this point, about the only thing that WON'T flee the moment it sees me is the earth dragon Araba, and I sure as hell can't have that for a meal...right...? The long stat readings can be tedious at times but the effort to make it sound good is clear.

Great story and reading as usual.

Wonderful volume in the series I really loved it. I do find myself wanting to skip the story with the humans, but I’ve held off so far and I was not let down in this book. Riveting work

A good book except for a few things, one the narrator is sometimes slightly obnoxious when they are voicing the main character and also the mc sometimes complains about bad game balance but then gets new abilities that are absolutely broken or would be in a real game.

I can't wait for the next volume to be released, I want to jeep reading but I'm enjoying the narrator tell the story so much that I'd rather wait a few weeks than to start reading the series on my own

as much as i enjoy caitlin kelly's narration, all these monster status readouts bring the narration to a screeching halt, every single time. it even gets a little grating, having to listen to them for *minutes* at a time as kumoko faces stronger and stronger enemies. i'm all for unabridged readings, but there must be some way to speed up these sections!
