Meet Noah - an A-honor-roll student, award-winning swimmer, and small-town star destined for greatness. There weren't any signs that something was wrong until the day he confesses to molesting little girls during swim-team practice. He's sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile sexual-rehabilitation center.

His mother, Adrianne, refuses to turn her back on him despite his horrific crimes, but her husband won't allow Noah back into their home. In a series of shocking and shattering revelations, Adrianne is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. Just how far will she go to protect her son?

Saving Noah challenges everything you think you know about teenage sexual offenders. It will keep you up at night long after you've finished, questioning beliefs you once thought were true.

This book absolutely tore me apart. As a parent, what would you do in this situation?! As a mother, the thought of this actually happening broke me. I give this four stars all the way; from the narrator, who perfectly captured the accent and tone of the setting, to the story itself, which offers insight into a deeply difficult and often unspoken topic. It’s a nightmare scenario, but one that is terrifyingly possible. I’m sure many parents have faced something like this and felt unable to express themselves due to the shame and judgment of society. This book is a raw, emotional portrayal of the lengths a mother would go to for her child, no matter the circumstances.

Heart wrenching

This book was an addicting page-turner, I could not stop listening. The story itself is very sad and bleak, but it’s fast paced and doesn’t have any boring or drawn out moments. I wish I bought the physical copy of this book because the narration ruined much of the story for me. The narrator did not put much emotion into the moms voice and really struggles with male voices, which I found distracting and it kept taking me out of the moment of the story. The ending of the book was incredibly predictable, like most of the story. There wasn’t anything unique or impactful about this book, it tried to be thought provoking and deep but i felt like I’ve heard this story a million times before. I was excited for this story and the writing sucked me in, but I was overall disappointed and left wanting more out of it.

Bleak and predictable

I almost stopped listening about 20% in because I was sick of the mom being delusional, but the last quarter or so made up for it. I learned quite a bit (which was unexpected) and I felt compassion for both Noah and his mom in the end. This will stick with me for a long time.

Painful and Surprising

The mother was the worst trying to.make noah The to make Noah look like he was innocent and like what he did wasn’t so bad that he molested girls (that is sinister behavior) I was on the dad's side - I would not care what happened to Noah if that was my child but then he turned out to be the opposite of what I thought it was. The narration was not that good like the author try to sound like a man, little girl , and teenager - they should have gotten different voice actors. however the situation was pretty interesting to read about It - heavy stuff. Overall it was worth an credit .

Frustrating
