My 3rd audible by this author and it was really good. narrators were good although one male voice always sounded like he was out of breath. story was good and ending was very fitting . recommend this author

Captivating throughout. If this is your genre, then this book is a must listen or read. If you listen to this book, the narrators did an incredible job making the characters real. Loved it!

Psychological thriller- YES!!!!

This story percolates along at a great pace, presenting a cast of characters who are all either hiding a secret or running from one. Flashbacks are very common here, and there is a pretty large cast, which may deter a few readers. However, most will find a well-written tale.

It was definitely a four-star read for me until the end approached. The final couple of twists just did me in. Of course, this is a matter of taste and not everyone will feel the same way I did about the final chapters. Trigger warnings are definitely in order here, as readers will find abuse of children (both mental and physical), torture, and kidnapping. It's a fairly traumatic storyline, and obviously not for everyone.
