The story and the narration were good, and I'm excited for the second book, my only complaint is the over explanation and use of stats and level up notifications, if those could be summarized instead of reading out every single notification times 50 and reading the stat sheet 3 times in a row in it's entirety for a small change somewhere that would be fantastic. Other than that small gripe i think it was a fun and good book and I'll definitely buy book 2 when it comes out, I'm very curious where it's going. I also personally love OP MCs. Thank you for your story.

I really liked this, I want book 2

The narrator did an excellent job and I'm surprised she didn't gag reading the juvenile, lowbrow sexual "humor" the author used. Fortunately that started to dry up. Unfortunately it took over half the story. This along with the overall writing was on the disappointing side. Had the author polished the story and written as a straight fantasy story it would have been a lot better.

The actual story is fair and somewhat enjoyable. The narration was absolutely fantastic.
That being said this book was very hard to finish because of the constant stat updates that took a significant amount of time in almost every chapter. Sometimes the same stats would be refreshed and reviewed in the same chapter. I do not expect to get the next book in the series.

There’s a story in here somewhere. It’s just really hard to find.

If you like spending half the book listening to stats this is the book for you.

It feels like 50% of this book is stats and excessively long level up notifications just to pad the book. Then another 15% is them repeating the same info they've already told you several times before. And 35% is actually story.

And just based on that 35% I'd say the story is a 2.5/5.

If I include the filter 65% I'd rate this book a 2/5.

Obviously the percentages I've given are based on how the book felt while listening. Not the actual breakdown of how much story/stats there really is.

This book feels very much like a first book from an author. A few adjustments to the writing and this story could easily be a 4/5.

So many stats.

Good story, but the author is writing a LitRPG without basic understanding of how stats work. Character is described as having low total mana and low mana regeneration, yet never runs out of mana despite using magical skills constantly for numerous battles one after another with no need for rests due to mana exhaustion. Character only needs to wait 24 hours due to debuff if killed when using certain skills.

Character is clearly OP as are all of the other characters of the party with only superficial development of skills or character.

Engaging battles, but eminently predictable OP character progression and plot line.
