My favorite fairytale has always been Cinderella, so listening to this story was a no brainer. However this tale is hmmmm, so much more than what I remember from my youth. Lots of steam with intrigue and pent-up desire.
Had never heard Paul Henry narrate before, but was pleased with his performance.

Mafia Daddy is a modern day version of the Cinderella fairy tale with a hint of daddy kink and a mafia romance all rolled into one. The story is based on the initial meeting and growing relationship between Dante, the next in line to be the head of the Mafia in Vegas and Gabriella the waitress he meets on the side of the road.
The story will hold your interest as there was a bit of everything for action, drama, angst, steamy scenes, murder and so much more.Dante was the Alpha bad boy and I really liked his characters however Gabriella acted a bit too child like and naive at times which became annoying.
I listened to the audible version of this story which was narrated by Paul D. Henry. This was my first time listening to this narrator. I loved his voice. It was a deep baritone which worked perfectly for Dante, however there was no variation in his voice for Gabriella and this made it a bit hard at times to differentiate between the two. However he did a great job with the rest of the story and I did enjoy listening.

Great modern twist to Cinderella. It took me a couple of chapters to get use to the narrator. The accent seemed kind of forced but I eventually got used to it. I highly recommend this book.

I am not a massive fan of the predictability of books unless I am in the mood and boy was I in the mood for this one. I loved how this was the perfect mix of Mob/Cinderella type story with just enough action to keep me Listening.

The narrator did an excellent job in switching and read at a pace that I didn't have to put my app at 1.25 or 1.50. This for me a is a plus because I can't stand narrators that drag out the words and sentences and words.
