Marc Thompson is perhaps my favorite narrator in the business, his work is tremendous and when he is reading it’s great. I haven’t gotten to January’s part yet, but she has done well in the past so I expect the same. All would be good except the author is doing narration too now and I am just taken completely out of the story. I’m extremely disappointed. It’s an interesting story, but I don’t really want to hear it performed by the writer.

The author of the book was honestly my least favorite star wars audiobook narrator so far. it was very confusing to follow the story at times because he used the same voice for Han, Sana, and the narration.

I've read and/or listened to all of the Star Wars material. Last Shot ranks right near the top. tThe story is well written, Han and Lando are PERFECT, no matter what part of the story your in. The 3 narrators at first was a concern, then I realized why they did it and it was a genius move. I knew I would get something fun, especially after reading From a Certain Point of View where Older wrote and performed the short story, Born in the Storm. You definitely need to check this book out!

What were you guys thinking letting these guest narrators read?? Apparently the guest male wrote the book but DOESNT UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT OF THE SCENES HES READING... how does he read every single scene jovially when he’s the guy who wrote it??? He reads a dark and somber scene like it’s someone birthday party.

AUDIBLE: do us all a favor and never let him read again. He ruined the whole thing. Will never buy again if his name is attached.

Did not like having three different voice actors. Daniel Jose Older's performance was not good and very distracting. Story had some fantastic characters and great grasp of Han and Lando but was not a fan of the plot.

Read this one instead.
