How about romance, suspense, action, passion, SASS, and - let me say it again - pirates? This book has it all, and it's a fun read/ listen. Lorna Bennett performs perfectly giving each character their own voice, dialect, and/or accent. I definitely need to listen to more of Lynsay Sands' historical books. She really knows how to bring characters and their stories to life. Love the Argeneau books, but I'm delighted to have these to fill in my wait time for the next one in that series.

This was a very good book. I enjoyed it from the first page until the end. There was never a moment of boredom, like some books, where you can't wait to get to the end. I did not want this book to end. The narrator also did a good job with the characters.

I always enjoy Lynsay Sands Romance novels. She keeps the reader interested with twists and turns! The romance is there as well as a mystery to be solved! I do wish she & Hannah Howell would team up to continue “The Mac Naughtons”. I really enjoyed that series and wish there were more!
