Great story! It would have been so good with a different, more diverse, narrator! It was hard to know who was speaking as the male character sounded quite high and breathy! I like her voice but it was hard to accept that he was speaking and not a young lady! I will say I haven’t ever cried as much over a book before! Very well written imo

Cameron MacKinlay & Marian ( Duchess). Absolutely amazing love story between a War Chief & a Duchess in the run because she killed her abusive husband. They were married by accident, some danger, mystery, passion, hope and tears. There were two parts the narrator made you feel the character’s feeling written by the author.
