Good Listen!! But not gonna lie, I got really Excited when I noticed Emma Wilder as one of the narrators!! Everything Emma says is pure Humor! She always makes me giggle when I need it the most.

I have loved getting to meet the Montgomery families, and the Fort Collins clan is a great addition. The first book from the new series is an enemy-to-lover tale and is Annabelle and Jacob's story. Jacob's family absolutely adores Annabelle but Jacob's dislike for Annabelle has kept him away from his parents until it's time to come home and take care of his family. They have a complicated history and to make matters, Jacob and Annabelle end up living next door to each other. The tension between these two is palpable and believable and when they get together they are fire. In the midst of this budding relationship, Annabelle works for the family business along with her brothers and sister. There is tension there as her father is having difficulty giving up control and feels he needs to keep up with the other thriving Montgomery businesses. I enjoyed seeing Jacob and Annabelle overcome the challenges they faced on all fronts.

As this is the start of a new series there are some interesting family members that I look forward to discovering more of their story. The audio included a clip titled Broken which is Eliza's story and I can't wait to hear her journey.

Narration by Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock was fantastic. Not new to me but this was my first time hearing them together. They definitely brought heat and a bit of spice to their narration.

Omg what a amazing read. I so didn't want it to end. I loved reading about Annabelle and Jacob and the way their story unfolded. Carrie Ann never disappoints a reader with her writing. The narrators are absolutely enjoyable to listen to. I love this new book and Fort Collins family.

A fiery, passionate, emotional, heartfelt and beautiful romance. Annabelle and Jacob had a lot to overcome but the deep bond they developed leads them to so much more than either of the expected. I enjoyed going on this captivating journey with them.

This book was a highly emotional book for all of the characters on different levels. while having all of the feels that go along with this type of read. Annabelle and Jacob have rocky relationship to start due to their past history with each other and both find themselves shocked to be next door neighbors. Their paths continually cross since Annabelle has a relationship with Jacob's parents that has been kept up for many years since Annabelle married Jacob's deceased brother in a last wish type of action. Jacob has had built up misdirected resentment toward Annabelle for they way that she handled her grief for his brother as well as her desire to stay involved with his parents. Annabelle on the other hand does not know how to at first resolve the issues between herself on Jacob while trying to deal with internal family struggles between her parents and her coworker siblings in their family business.

Throughout this start to a new series, we are introduced to new characters and a peak into the dynamics between the characters. We also get to watch the growth of Annabelle and Jacob's characters as they grow from a friends with benefits type relationship after clearing the air between them. The pair together have amazing chemistry together that was palpable at times.

Overall, this was a good book that I enjoyed from the start. I also enjoyed the narration by Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock. The pair did a great job bringing this book to life. If you have been a fan of Montgomery's and their spin off series that you will not be disappointed in this book either.
