Pirates pacified. Void vanquished. Peace is a fragile beast.

Felix has survived the tribulations of the Void and returned to the Continent. Civilization, at long last. Yet the city of Haarwatch has a terrible new issue.

The Inquisition has arrived to stamp out sorcery and unnatural monstrosities...and Felix still has the Primordial Maw riding shotgun in his soul. Now, he must find his friends and a way to remove a section of his very essence before everything comes crashing down.

All the while, sinister plots in Haarwatch's center promise dire, bloody consequences for anyone who catches the Inquisition’s eye.

I like the book the book was a lot of fun to listen to I like the battles and all that but I don’t like that the main character keeping secrets like having a God inside of them and also don’t listen to somebody’s comments their pretty fucking stupid they just haven’t really listened to the book

The Mc is dumb, but overall good

solid action, tons of monster's, and solid action. narrator is solid my only suggestion is tweak some of the creatures voices and dial down volume when someone takes damage. all in all entertaining

writer hits their stride

This is what I've been waiting for. Book one was fun, but a bit too much meandering in the wild. Book two was a void. But this one had intregue and action and progress. Also, I'm loving the distinctive personality the narrator adds to each character. There's never any confusion who's speaking.

The story is getting quite good now
