This is hands down one of my favorite Ali Hazelwood stories! The characters, the story and the performances of the narrators had me hooked from chapter one. This is the perfect cozy fall listen with a hint of vampires.

The narration was top-notch. Nina Yndis (Ethel) and Maxim Reston (Lazlo) are new-to-me narrators, but they made Hazelwood’s witty humor and emotional intensity leap off the page.
