In this thrilling story of crime and corruption from the world’s #1 bestselling author, three detectives keep their identities secret, and NYPD’s Det. Helene Grey is on a mission to unmask them—no matter who gets killed along the way.

In New York City, three intriguing, smart, and stylish private investigators open Holmes, Marple & Poe Investigations. Who are these detectives with famous names and mysterious, untraceable pasts?

Brendan Holmes—The Brain: Identifies suspects via deduction and logic.

Margaret Marple—The Eyes: Possesses powers of observation too often underestimated.

Auguste Poe—The Muscle: Chases down every lead no matter how dangerous or dark.

The agency’s daring methodology and headline-making solves attract the attention of NYPD Detective Helene Grey. Her solo investigation into her three unknowable competitors rivals the best mysteries of Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle, Agatha Christie, and Edgar Allan Poe.

Riveting. Kept me glued to the end. Loved the multiple mysteries and how they were all solved by the end.

Loved the various voice distinctions.

While interesting there were so many storylines and the chapters so short it was difficult to keep track of what was happening

To many storylines

as I'm sure we're most of us, I was intrigued by the title. it was interesting how multiple cases were entwined into this one book. However, I was a bit confused at the resolution of the Bane's burglary.

Thoroughly Enjoyed It

I loved this book. The audio version was well narrated. The story contains several cases to be solved by the modern day Holmes, Poe, and Marple investigative team. They are quite a mystery themselves - one that I certainly hope to read again in a future series. Just Brilliant! Please, Mr. Patterson, can we have more?

Fantastic read!

Very entertaining and enjoyable but quite unrealistic - the 1 complete was the consistent transition from story to story, it was tough at times to follow, bunch of stories in 1. The endings all so happy and too perfect.

Very entertaining and enjoyable
