I'm the illegitimate son of a mafia boss and a natural-born killer.

As my father's enforcer, my assignments are dark and demented.

I'm willing to cross any line for my family. Until her.

She's everything I shouldn't want—innocent and timid with a smile that makes me forget to breathe.

She's a walking angel in designer heels and the daughter of my family's sworn enemy.

On command, I took her like a thief in the night.

Now she's mine—even if she doesn't want to accept her new reality.

I see the fear in her hazel eyes whenever I get too close, but I see the passion dancing there, too.

I know better than to fantasize about touching someone as delicate as her.

She's off limits, but that only makes me want her more.

Because whenever she's in my arms, I feel at peace.

And I can't help but surrender my heart.

When trouble lands at her feet, I vow to stop at nothing to protect her.

Even if that means giving up everything, even my last breath.

Turns out I have a weakness.

And her name is Capri Rossi.

Surprisingly way better than I originally expected. The character introductions and character building was great. The storyline and drama were on point. Also the narrators brought the story to life for me.

Good read

The story was all over the place. Good premise but not put together well imo.
