I originally read this as an ebook and the rating was a four-star but as an audiobook so much better. I connected more woth the story listening to it. It's a sports romance that is messy in a good way. It hits all the feels. And the characters were lovely. I liked the story, the plot, the characters and how it all came together. From one chapter to the next I was hooked on the narrative. It's an engaging listen with loads of banter. The narrators delivered a stellar performance narrating this. Wren Ross and Kai Kennicott were perfect to voice the characters. The emotions and the personalities of the MMC and FMC were expressed perfectly by these narrators. Overall, this is an satisfying listen and a solid story. I highly recommend grabbing a copy of this audio. It's a very good book. Thanks to the author for a copy of this. All opinions are my own and freely expressed.

I absolutely loved this audiobook. The narrators truly nailed the duet performance, bringing the story to life in such an emotional and fun way.

The story itself is flirty, engaging, and filled with great tension and banter between the characters. Camden calling her “River” as a pet name was such a sweet touch—I loved that detail.

I also really appreciated the overall storyline and the ASL representation, which added meaningful depth to the book.

I don’t personally have any triggers, but I’d still
recommend checking content warnings beforehand. If cheating isn’t something you enjoy in a story, this might not be the right fit for you.

I loved this book but listening to it by these two narrators was even better. They each did a great job showcasing the "dislike" to love that the main characters felt for each other.

This audiobook was so good! I loved Nadine and Camden’s story! They didn’t like each other at first, but when we get more of the story we realize that Nadine had it all wrong. Camden wanted him from the first moment he laid eyes on her. The banter and the swoonfest you get through out the book is great. Sophie Andrews did a fantastic job with weaving in some real life scenarios that people who are deaf have to deal with growing up. 5 star read for me for this audiobook!

I loved this story so much and am glad that I got to listen and give my opinions without any pressure. I love football and the love in this story comes out so strong. The accident that changed the lives of the main characters and the trust that was put into his best friends sister to care for and love his younger sister with her hearing deficit was remarkable and definitely something I won’t ever forget. I loved the fact that this story happened in Philadelphia because I’m from the area and enjoy seeing it in love stories. I definitely recommend listening to this book to everyone who loves sports romance stories with best friends siblings falling in love and learning how to deal with some deficits in life.
