I really enjoyed Chase & Brynn’s love story & I loved getting to better know the members of the Miles family as the story unfolded. I especially loved Chase’s’ character. What a sweetheart! I found his dedication to Brynn & to their relationship to be heartwarming & endearing. Once again Claire Kingsley has delivered an enjoyable book full of engaging, mostly lovable characters. This was a fun listen & as always, Ava Ericksons’ narration was beautiful & perfect! Vikas Adam was new to me, & I struggled with his narration in parts. His female voices were cringe-worthy at times. I feel he has potential, however.

It has been a hot minute since I visited Salishan and it was great to go back via audio. The narrators did great in portraying all the characters. Both of them nailed each character as I pictured them when reading the book. This was my first experience hearing Vikas Adam and he was a good pick for Chase. Ava Erickson has yet to do anything I don't like.

I forgot how many funny parts were in Chase and Brynn's story. I can remember giggling when I read it but hearing it had me laughing out loud. The bromance between Chase and Cooper is is awesome. The one liners they come up with just don't stop. That is one of the things that Claire Kingsley is so very talented at....the banter between her characters and the things they say, you never know what it is going to be.

Brynn and Chase's story is a whirlwind of fresh air. I love how just one day it his Chase that Brynn is beautiful and from that day forward his purpose in life is Brynn. He is willing to lose his friendship with Cooper for her, he goes to blows with her dad for her, he even rearranges his office for her (and a little for himself). He is completely selfless when it comes to Brynn.

I really enjoyed the forbidden best friends’ sister story between Chase and Brynn. I am a fan of the quick courtship story as I have lived that very thing. Ava Erickson was very good but going from Joe Arden in the first book to Vikas Adam in the second book was a little jarring because of their very different styles. Anxious to continue with the Miles family series.

I’ve read the books in this series and am now journeying into the audio versions. I enjoyed listening to Chase and Brynn’s story. The only issue I had was when the male narrator starting talking each time in his chapters. His voice startled me la bot each time when he first started speaking and I had to ease into his narration. For some reason, his voice just hit me incorrectly as Chase. It didn’t stop me from enjoying the audio version, it just took several sentences for me to get past it.
