They thought killing the dragon would end the story.

It didn’t.

Vaelorn survived Skaldrith, the Frost Tyrant.
But survival came with a cost.

The dragon left its mark on him.
A scar that should have killed him.
A name people whisper.
And a past that refuses to stay buried.

Now something in the hills is slaughtering without feeding.
Livestock are left torn open. Villagers vanish. Blood-soaked carvings appear near ancient stone. And the closer Vaelorn gets, the clearer the truth becomes:

This is no wild beast.
This is a weapon.
And someone is pulling the leash.

As cultists defile old dwarven wards and awaken forces they do not understand, Vaelorn is drawn into a hunt far darker than revenge. With Aelthrya, a deadly watcher of forgotten paths, at his side, he must track the evil to its source before the Broken Lands crack open and unleash something far worse than death.

Because once old stone starts listening,
it does not stop at one sacrifice.

Blood of Valgard is for readers who want brutal fantasy with real weight—dragon scars, ancient grudges, dark cults, cursed wilderness, and a warrior who keeps walking toward the things everyone else run from.

If you like grim fantasy with sharp prose, rising dread, and a hero forged by blood, loss, and cold steel, this book will pull you in fast.

And the cost of not reading it?

Missing the moment before Valgard breaks.

Great story, really pulls ya in. Wonderful new character's combined with characters from DA Roberts book Heart of Iron. Opens up for even more stories from both authors covering many people and worlds.

Excellent saga of good versus evil .

there is nothing do dislike in this book.He hit all the sword & a sorcery tropes. The writer had me hook from the get go. The writer did something that made this book feal like a combination of old D&D book from the eighties and other sword & sorcery stories. Sometimes I felt it was D&D sometimes I felt it was Robert E. Howard and then sometimes I felt that it was a cosmic horror mixed in. He Hit the ball out of the park with this one.

good thing come to those who wait.
