Alison and Max are back with the conclusion to their dark fairytale. Once again, Andi and Sean were phenomenal bringing these sassy and broody characters to life. Their chemistry and narration style is always entertaining to listen to.

Angel of Light is the ending we all needed to this duet and exactly what Alison and Max deserved. This book was funny, entertaining, spicy, full of drama, and had an emotional twist that hits right in the feels. I adored the banter, charm and even the broody and jealous outbursts from Max. We may have gotten the ending to Alison and Max’s love story, but of course there’s more to the family drama as we’re once again left on a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to dive into the next book in the series.

This book picks up right where everything left off—and there is no easing back in. The tension? Still there. The stakes? Higher. The emotional damage? Immediate.

Alison is done being controlled. Watching her take control of her life was one of my favorite parts of this book.

Max…is still Max. Loyal. Possessive. Completely torn between duty and the one woman he can’t seem to let go of.

And that’s what makes this sequel work so well, it doesn’t just rely on chemistry (which is still 🔥), it forces both characters to confront what they’re willing to sacrifice.

The mafia world tightens its grip here too. Alliances, power plays, and looming danger are constantly in the background, reminding you that love in this world always comes with a price.

Just as good as the first in the duet.

Ok I seriously enjoyed this flow up to Angel of darkness. I think it was actually better than the first book but I am in love with them both!! She definitely deserved that happy ending for her and max! Oh this was yummy!


The audio made this book even better! Like legit was amazing. Sean masters and Andi Eloise did not disappoint. Blue nose did such a great job with keeping the spreads at the same level and the timing was perfect between recordings!

H*ly cow this was an emotionally charged story full of br*tal twists and turns! My heart strings with this love story were pulled so tight it was excruciating as much as it was enticing. I loved the push and pull with the heated tension. But best of all was the raw honesty and vulnerability shown by Max. This man bared his soul in such a beautiful way it brought tears to my eyes! Alison on the other hand remains to be a handful as seen in the previous book, but finally in this conclusion she took charge of herself and actions. She finally gained the back bone I was hoping for! As for the sp*ce in this story, let’s just say it did not disappoint and got even more intense! For pete’s sake though, that ending was a b*nger and threw me for a loop! I really hope to see Alison’s baby sister get her own story to know her fate!

Narrators Sean Masters and Andi Eloise gave an outstanding performance that kept me on the edge of my seat. These two took this audio to a whole new emotional level that left me reeling. The flow, pacing, and chemistry between Sean and Andi was on point!

Another masterpiece! Stephanie Amarals books are truly amazing. I've loved them since the day I picked up Savage Temptation. So to listen to her books coming to life is an experience that I truly loved.

I felt so many emotions listening to Andie Eloise as Alison. The emotions of a girl with a broken heart to the fierce mafia princess she was born to be. Andie brought Alison to life each step of the way.

Sean Masters as Max was a whole experience, he brought the ruthless second in command to Don Battaglia alive. Sean did an amazing job.
