More than the movie

I want to begin by saying that if you are a fan of the Alien franchise you will enjoy this book. The old questions of where or who had created the Xenomorphs' is finally answered and so is other questions. Like what had happen to David and Dr. Shaw. However, once the team arrives at this mysterious planet which by the way it does not receive the customary LV# designator we see the true menacing underlying within the story; that is indicative of the franchise.

Furthermore, after listening to the book numerous new questions arrive. Such as why did the Colonial Marines who respond to the emergency situation at LV-426 aka Acheron / Hadley's Hope didn't have the medical field patch kits? The events of this story take place years before that story, so did technology just stoped? What happens to David and the 2k plus colonist headed to Oriagy 6? You can infer that David being the Father of the dreaded Xenomorph has more viable genetically mutated material which he will infect the human embryos onboard the Covenant. And where does the story go from here?

The evil hand of Wayland-Yutanni Corporation.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator, Tom Taylorson did an awesome job with the narration. A lot of the questions I had with the movie were clarified. Looking forward to diving into the other Alien books.

Very good companion to the movie

Good but a bit drawn out. Narration is good but possibly could have female voices and screams done a little better. Gaps between what I assume are paragraph breaks are long and distracting. that being said it was overall good and had some twists I didn't see coming. Alien fan? U should get it.

Pretty ok

I greatly enjoyed this book. The narrator had a good cadence for keeping the suspense without overly long pauses. I’m a huge fan of the Alien franchise and this book was perfect.

An excellent listen
