Kate Minty is an author and a long-time jigsaw puzzle enthusiast. During a puzzle competition, she bragged quite enthusiastically to a local news station that her team would win the whole thing when, in fact, her team came in dead last. The team was escorted out of the library as the librarians turned the lights off and locked the doors. Kate also enjoys a nice charcuterie board in her leisure time. Recently, she has leaned into her midlife hobby of growing tomatoes. So far, she has managed to grow a tomato; all hope is not lost. There’s always next year.
