I am a highly imaginative writer who loves to create an escape into the alternative world of an original story. I worked for 12 years, as a primary school teacher so I am familiar with the best examples of modern children's books and traditional folktales. I was inspired to write the first Mermaid Tale for my little god daughter Lydia who has a fascination with mermaids and long hair! I have now written a series of 14 Mermaid Tales Picture Books which can either stand alone or form part of a children's fantasy adventure book series.
