Brenda Stephens, LPCC, is a licensed therapist and founder of the Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Center. Her focus on narcissistic abuse grew from both personal experience and a pattern she noticed in her clinical work: clients arriving with the same confusion, self-doubt, and invisible wounds that traditional therapy wasn't equipped to address. Brenda offers individual therapy, support groups, and classes for survivors, and trains clinicians who want to treat narcissistic abuse effectively. She is the author of The Narcissism Recovery Workbook, Recovering from Narcissistic Mothers, and The Reclamation: A Shadow Work Workbook for Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse. She holds a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin - Stout and is based in San Diego, California.
