I really like the narrator, his voice was perfect for this.

Flinching from the very start I knew this was going to be a good one. The amount of details was perfect. I could clearly see the story playing out in mind head, which honestly at some points was unpleasant but that's the point! I can't wait to read more from the author, I really enjoyed this!

I think it would have been better if the wife's name was Julie, but Julia was fine too.
