Well, Heidi, you've done it again. Shear perfection. Roe has so many broken parts that it's a wonder that he can function at all. I see bits of Randy from the Special Delivery series and some of Elijah from Lonely Hearts from Love Lessons in Roe. Travis knows about being broken and he sees Roe so clearly. The way he patiently waits for Roe, the way he won't let him run from him, and the way he supports him all show just how deeply he loves him. Haley isn't one of the main characters and yet she is. What an amazing, fierce, loving person. There is some heavy kink play and it adds to the story without being all that the book is about. The ending left my heart full of happiness. This book is definitely on my 'reread' list.

Was not sure what to expect when I downloaded this book. Loved the cover, being a gay Montana cowboy type, expecting the story to be very bad. It totally took me by surprise! This story actually has a lot of heart! It was well written and exceptionally well read. It is about a man at the end of his rope, uncomfortable, self loathing who gets on a journey of finding and accepting who he is. And finds redemption and a greater sense of self worth in the end. For the most part it is very honest and down to earth with very believable characters. The sex scenes are quite hot and very exciting and at times visually graphic. Fell in love with it in the end. It has a great heart at it's core and took me on a memorable ride.

4 stars for Iggy Toma's narration. I don't think I could of got through all the kinkiness without him lol. Honestly, if I read it on my own I probably would not have enjoyed it as much. He was pretty solid.

I love this book and I’ve listened to it a number of times.

Fair amount of kinky bedroom games, but really it’s the feelings that gets to me. There is so much love, insecurity, friendship, anguish and more, that just makes everything resonate within in me. I always cry happy tears at the end.
